Friday evening we left Whistler after work, and drove as far up the FSR to Blowdown Lake. Sunset on the drive into to blowdown pass

Pictures of our long weekend trip to Blowdown pass. We hiked up to the lake friday night, and over the pass into the Stein Park Saturday. Side trips included the Silver Queen Mine, and a beautiful alpine lake...which we found despite a few wrong turns! Highlights were bushwacking up the ridge, a swim in the lake, finding the mine, yummy food, the silence, views, and great company! low moments...bugs, bugs, and oh yes, bugs!
