Counting seeds is messy work. We are making groups of fives.

These are two of the stories we enjoyed.

Genesis discoverd two dictionaries were six pounds.

Joe thought maybe the pineapple planted weighed five pounds but it only weighed four.

I’m Ms. Fama and I teach third grade in NJ. These are the results of The Pumpkin Seed Project. This was a wonderful learning experience. Students employed many math skills. They used a scale for measurement and equivalent measure, skip counting, multiplication and addition. Reading, spelling and observation were other skills utilized.
