(10-18-08 NOTE: Another 100+ photos have been added in a second album entitled "Mas Madrid 1970-74 Torrejon" etc. Enjoy and please leave a comment or email at chris_fierro@sbcglobal.net.) While visiting my parents' house in Eurovillas (Madrid) in May, 2008, I stumbled upon a trove of negatives that I took in Madrid and at THS from 1970 to 1974, and some photo prints of that era (some taken by others) that I believed to have been lost many years ago. Some were taken as a camera buff, many were taken as a HS yearbook and newspaper photog during those years. Many of the negatives and prints are in bad shape, having been originally under or overexposed, developed under less than ideal conditions, or stored in a dusty pantry for 34 years. Fortunately digitalizing technology has allowed for significant correction and although many pictures are not pristine, in most we are able to identify our colleagues, friends, and teachers. Responses identifying individuals in the pictures are appreciated. It is my intention to forward this or a similar effort to the various Madrid High alum associations. I hope you enjoy this unexpected blast from the past. Comments, feedback, and reconnections always welcome, particuarlary to identify the many protaganists of thes photos. Abrazos, Chris
