"From the moment Zionists entered Palestine more than a century ago, strife in the Middle East has only escalated. Violence has been done to God's law in heaven and earth. The Bible is clear: There is no peace for the wicked. There will be no peace in the Mideast for America either,as long as we continue to fight trillion-dollar wars to legitimize and protect a spiritually lawless, counterfeit, rogue state." Rev. Ted Pike

The poor and the displaced, people living in Gaza Strip, has worked throughout their lives at a succession of unstable jobs, and under occupation, many times under dangerous and unhealthy conditions. Now the jobs are gone and so are the factories and the workshops.
Hamas movement which established hospitals, education systems and libraries, throughout Gaza Strip and the West Bank, also use to support the poor and the displaced, a humanitarian mission which was a large part of their social service program. But that was before the devastating siege on Gaza Strip, which has also destroyed the public health and the well fare.

Amin and his large family is living in the northern parts of Gaza Strip.Amin is married with Uma and Soad, and has 12 children, in the age between 10 month and 18 year. Amin is also taking care of his brothers children. In a house hold where the annual income is below 60% of the median, the ‘poverty line’,the family can barley maintain it's existence.
Amin and his family live without any comfort, such as appliances and fixtures, bathroom or a modern stove and fridge. Amin's family live in a tent consisting of 3 rooms, one kitchen, a living room and a bedroom. The tent was bought and erected with help from Hamas, after that the family was evicted from their apartment, because there was no money left to pay for the rent. Amin was earlier working in Israel, he lost his job and his income, after the siege and the closure of the border crossings on Gaza Strip, 10 months ago.
