Macpherson hit the cover of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue in the 1980s and went on to became one of the most acclaimed models of the 1990s. Her acting career includes appearances in movies like Sirens (1994, with Hugh Grant) and Batman and Robin (1997, with George Clooney). Macpherson also joined Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell as an original partner in the Fashion Cafe restaurant chain.
