Rhythm is a visual effect that creates many sensations in a place. The elements that are in the rhythm have similarities that become all in one.Rhythm is a way to express some emotion or sensation, also it expresses an idea that can be represented by the repetitions of curve lines or spirals, inside a space or in the exterior of a space; but always with the same objective, to express a graphical message that depends on the artist who realizes it. This message can be either definite or it can be indefinite in an abstract way, but it is certain that there is always present a similarity in all the elements that intervene in this art of rhythm. Some of the types of rhythms that exist are: the repetitions of shapes, the repetitions of differences, indefinite and open or definite and closed, repetitions of lines, spirals, and lines in curve, repetitions in the interior space or exterior space. Rhythm in architecture is very important, it can be a simple composition like the style used in Greece and Rome or a complex composition like in the Gothic period.
