The Battle of Crete just was commemorated by many Cretan Associations around the world including in New York by the United Cretan Cultural Committee. We held a Memorial and Doxology at the Cathedral in Manhattan and then at the Cretan House in Astoria, Mr. Nikos Nikolidakis gave a lecture with participation from children of the Hellenic Classical Charter School
